Shedding the unnecessary...

In training let go of all comparisons, preconceived notions, and expectations. They serve no purpose for the warrior. Its not about what you believe you should be able to do, how good you are compared to others, or what you think may happen.

Its about being in the moment! Comparing yourself to others is a waste of time, just as trying to be like someone else is also pointless. Regardless of who you would like to be; when you wake up in the morning you are still you....so what are going to do? If there is one absolute truth I have learned over the years it is the fact that in order to change who you are now you must change your perception of things and your thoughts.

It is common to look up to people during your life and that is OK. The problem arises when individuals place others on an unreachable pedestal. This does nothing but place a limitation on yourself. Greatness is available for everyone....but few reach out and take hold of it.

Limitations are nothing more than illusions. You will hear people say think outside the box, or push the envelope. Well I say there is NO BOX, there is NO ENVELOPE, the only limitation that exists is the one you place on yourself........
